Declawing house cats; yes or no
I’m staunchly against it.
It’s an amputation surgery, not to mention when done incorrectly and part of the nail bed is left, the nail can I grow and cause the cat a lot of pain.
When we did have a cat, we had the vet trim her nails at visits. Eventually she got used to it and we did it at home.
