Did essential oils help you to induce labor?

I heard a lot of good things about Clary sage oil and lavender oil and was gonna give them a go. (I'm 40 weeks) Any experiences.

Not sure how essential oils could help induce labor. Anyone care to explain? 🤔

I used clary sage in my bath for the first time the day before I went I to labor with my second baby. Not sure if it was a coincidence or it was the oils, but I’m not
Complaining. Haha
