Anyone have experience with this?

I need to go in to get my gallbladder tested because it's been acting up and making me really sick on and off for the last week or so. I'm calling my lactation consultant tomorrow, but I wanted to see if anyone has had experience with this as well.

My daughter is only 3 1/2 weeks old. so she feeds a lot and I want to keep breast feeding her. Half of what I read says it's fine because the amount of dye they use is so small, the other half says I need to pump and dump for 30 hours, and then there are a few things that say I should pump and dump once and then just store the rest for at least 30 hours. 🤔

Also, will not having anything to eat or drink for 6 hours affect my supply or will she still be getting enough to eat during that time?
