Any mommies have to stop breastfeeding due to medication?

I have had a sudden onset of high blood pressure at 16 weeks post partum. It’s root cause hasn’t been found. I am extremely active and fitness minded so it’s super weird and scary.

They can’t seem to get me on a med that’s keeping my bp low enough and it’s freaking me out because we may have to try some that aren’t as nursing friendly. One that is being considered is an L3 med.

Has anyone had to stop bf’ing due to meds? I’m not sure if the benefits outweigh the risk here.

Please help with any experience you’ve had with this. Appreciated. ❌⭕️❌
