Today was rough. My little Rosie smacked her face on her crib during the wee hours and gave herself a sweet shiner.

Of course we needed to run errands today so I just hoped no one at Target would think we beat our child.

Fast forward to the afternoon, she’s running around Target with her dad and I’m doing the shopping. I hear her screaming/laughing and being crazy and then she’s just screaming. So I’m like “Great, she tried to grab something and now she’s upset because dad took it away.” If only! She tripped and cut open her forehead on these steel things around the pipes near the freezer section!

So three stitches later...I’m just at home and trying my best not to be flaming angry at my husband because I know it really wasn’t his fault, and I’m also angry that my beautiful little baby had to go through all of this. 😭 A number of mom friends have told me all of their kids have smacked themselves around but I still feel awful. Just needed to vent. 💔
