EBF and Tongue Tie *RANT*

My in laws are bugging the crap out of me about my 13 day old. They didn’t Breast feed their son, and so don’t get it. With my son having a minor tongue tie that does not inhibit his eating, weight gain or hurt me. With his ped and two lactation consultants not concerned you would think that would be the end of it. Well the in laws are going on and on about why haven’t we gotten it taken care of, that it hurting him, that he won’t be able to eat or talk right if we don’t. We told hem everything the ped said and how they aren’t concerned right now and will keep an eye on it and we will see where he is at when he hits 6 months. He can stretch his tongue over his gums and out past his lips and the ped said to show him how to move his tongue by sticking out tongue out at him for him to mimic and hat will greatly help him. Anyone else dealing with or dealt with issues like this?
