Do I need to go to the doctor?
I used to have this problem where I got a uti multiple times a week. I went to about ten different doctors for this issue and none of them could really give me a diagnosis except that I would eventually "grow out of it." I realized that I was probably not making enough of an effort to pee after sex, and after being really militant about it for two months I see a dramatic difference. HOWEVER my bf and I had sex on Saturday night and we were both kind of drunk so it took us a long time. I felt like I could basically feel like I was getting a uti during it. I tried to pee after and I guess I was dehydrated so nothing came out. I went to bed and then we had morning sex. This time barely anything came out. And guess what? Today I have a horrific uti. I bought some AZO and cranberry supplements which usually help with pain, but I feel like I should probably get antibiotics. It's just that I'm in college and it's such a hassle to walk the two miles to student health and set up an appointment etc. so I only want to go if I feel like I have to. I feel like there's a chance my body is used to this and it may clear up on its own seeing as how it's not like in the past I've gotten antibiotics EVERYTIME I got a uti. What do you think?
