Cramping...how much is normal?

How severe are cramps usually during early pregnancy? I'm 4w1d and today some pretty moderate cramps have come on.

I don’t know about how much is normal (I think it can vary person to person), but I’ve had cramps daily since about 4w. But I haven’t had much nausea at all, so I’ll take it! 
I had a particular cramp that was one-sided and on my lower back for about 24 hours, and I got worried enough to go in to the doctor. They weren’t concerned about the cramps, which reassured me so I could relax about it.

With my first I cramped a lot at the start. Totally normal. If you start bleeding like a period that’s when you need to be concerned.
