Two middle names??

I am having a hard time narrowing the perfect name down. I want something meaningful to my family and I. My boyfriend has two middle names and he HATES it. He’s in the military so it’s complicated but I feel like it’s so common now and I don’t wanna based my name selection off weather or not my child decides to join the military 😭

I gave my daughter 2 middle names but hers has meaning it was her dads moms name.. he wanted his first daughter to carry her name so her name is Emma Ruth-Ann

My husbands from the south, tons of people have “double barrel” names, I don’t see a problem with it for first or middle names. As long as they aren’t, like, Tammy-Sue Ruth-Marie Smith-Johnson 😋

Yes! I have two middle names. So does my mom & brother. I think my moms reason was that we would then be unique if someone ever had the same first & last name they definitely wouldn't have the same middle names if there is two.

I have 2 middle names and my son will have 2 middle names. Honestly it’s not a huge deal, the only time I ever see both middle names is on important documents like my marriage license, social security card, etc. they don’t even put down the second name on my drivers license. It annoys my mom, but I don’t really think it matters.
