recovery after episiotomy

hi ladies. my daughter was born last week and she was just over 8lbs, and got stuck at the shoulders on her way out. I had an episiotomy and stitches after delivery. After my first time using the restroom after delivery, I suffered a very painful hemorrhoid.

Any suggestions on caring for/recovering from the stitches and hemorrhoid? I've been using the peri bottle to wash, taking stool softeners, and using preparation h cream. Anything else I can do to ease pain and speed up recovery?
