20 week anatomy scan

So today was the happiest & saddest day of my life, so far. I had my anatomy scan & ITS A GIRL 🤗🤗🤗. Sadly the tech didn’t provide me with a pic to take home, but clearly seeing the three lines was enough, so I’ll take it. She continued on with her scan and afterwards calls the Dr after she’d sent him all the pics. He wasn’t there because he had to rush off for another patient. Anyway I’m still in Lala Land, only for he doc to tell me that there was a white spot on my baby’s heart which sometimes happens with babies who have Down Syndrome 😥. He told me that my last bloodwork came back fine, so I shouldn’t be too worried, but they wanted to do one more blood test just to confirm and I’ll get the results back next week. Then on top of that I have a really short cervix & if it gets any shorter I could go into preterm labor. This was a lot of info to take in and I couldn’t help, but to cry. So now I have to take a prescription vaginally and take a week off from work because they don’t want me on my feet and that’s basically all that I do at work. I just don’t know what to do at this point. Anyone else get that kind of news at their anatomy scan?
