Should I be worried about lobby renovations?

I work at a hotel. Our lobby is undergoing some pretty hefty renovations. They are putting in new floors, shelves, painting, all that stuff. Today its particularly dust and it’s bothering my throat a bit. I’m wondering if maybe all this stuff isn’t really good for baby?? 6w5d today.

I personally would just wear one of those medical face masks if possible just to keep the dust out for your own sake.

I wouldn’t worry about any of that unless its a really old building and there’s asbestos in the drywall - but hotels are really good with being up to code on that stuff and wouldn’t be using anything with lead or stuff like that.
