Do you save your baby items?

Question

If you’re planning on having one more baby but not for a couple years. What would you save?

I’ve sold a lot of the clothes, but kept some that bad sentimental value and/or were still in new condition. Everything else is sold. I know next time what I want and don’t want and what’s not necessary. We had a lot of stuff that went unused or was a waste of money.

I've kept everything but we also planned on getting pregnant soon after our first. they'll be 17 months apart. I saved her clothes until we found out the gender and donated everything except the sentimental things for a quilt. from now on, she'll be getting gender neutral clothes so that baby brother can wear them later on. but if you have the space, definitely save it all! It's been a bit of a tight squeeze to save the jumperoo and bouncy seat but I know I won't regret not having to buy them again (even though they're both pink 🤷) and once baby brother is done with them we can get rid of them for good!

I saved everything because I knew I'd be trying again within a year. If it was going to be more than 3 years, I'd probably get rid of stuff and start over then.

I keep everything but let my family borrow some of the bigger items we weren't needing - bassinet, jumper, etc. It makes no sense for our brothers/sisters to buy expensive items that are sitting in our basement that will only be used for a few months.

I had so many clothes from my first I gave away a bunch ! That he never got around to wearing (they were all second hand when I got them so they weren’t my top priority on trying to get him to wear them at least once) well even after giving away about a garage bag full maybe close to two I still had so many ! I am having another boy (didn’t plan on getting pregnant till after my sons second birthday but a little surprise changed that ! We kept my sons bounce ,jumper, bassinet, all his toys, clothes,  bottles, nipples, pacifiers (only because he has stashed them !) but blankets ,sheets literally like everything beside dirty diapers and wipes lol.  I’m 18 weeks with our second and I have his room done we did have to buy a new crib and stuff because my son in still in his .  But this is our seconds closet .. it’s newborn -9 month so far soon to also have 12 month  and I have a few new clothes for him (also probably about 10 or so have never been worn by my first)

I kept everything! We wanted our kids close in age. They would’ve been 18 months apart but unfortunately I had a missed miscarriage for that one but am pregnant again and they will be 27 months apart.
