Thyroid Issues

Has anyone here had a healthy pregnancy and child while solely on thyroid replacement hormone?? I had my thyroid removed years ago, and my levels have been up and down over the years. I’m 16 weeks pregnant, and when I first found out my levels were VERY low and quickly raised. Well, at 12 weeks they were too high, so my dose was changed again and they were normal. So, at 16 weeks my levels are now borderline low. I’m so scared that my baby’s brain will have not developed right due to these fluctuations. I know how important thyroid hormone is to fetal development. I feel so guilty that I didn’t push the doctor to have them drawn more often so this would have been caught sooner.

Does anyone have any experience with hypothyroidism and pregnancy?? I would love to hear your experience.
