Rights to embryos
So I was reading something interesting. This couple in China was ready to undergo IVF and had embryos ready. They unfortunately died in a car accident before the IVF procedure and the embryos stayed in storage. The deceased couples' parents fought for legal rights of the embryos, and then hired a surrogate to bring one to term. So my question is, do you think that is ethical? What should happen to the embryos otherwise? Would you want this if you passed away with embryos still stored? (Side note: I'm well aware that surrogacy is illegal in China. The procedure was done in Laos)

**Bonus Questions** Do you think one person has more rights than the other to biological embryos in the event of a break up? For example if a couple breaks up and one of them no longer wants to bring the embryo to term and one does either themselves, or with a surrogate... Does it entitle child support if it happens?
