New to Clomid

Caitlyn

Hi! I am 23 and have been “not preventing” for almost two years. In the first few months I was diagnosed with PCOS, after my doctor assured me there was nothing wrong (I went three months with no period). My husband and I have since found a more supportive doctor who listens. She put us through a series of fertility tests, and, surprise! Surprise! I am not ovulating (PCOS). Due to start Clomid next month during my next cycle. I know I am young but I am fully expecting this process to take a while and I would like to have a few children, so I figure the sooner, the better. Plus, I am very excited to be a mother!

Update: I am at cd25 and I think I ovulated on the 4th (cd 19). I did not think that we would get pregnant the first cycle, but I had some minor cramps yesterday morning and my breasts are sore, and I have a sore throat. I am waiting to see if af shows up! Baby dust!!

Update: I am now at cd 41 and still no sign of af. I took the most recent hpt five days ago and got a bfn. I am going in to my OBGYN tomorrow morning for an ultrasound (part of the Clomid process), so hopefully I will find out tomorrow if I am or not. Also, my breasts are heavier and sitting lower than normal, I have had almost constant heartburn, I have been nauseous, had frequent headaches, and need to pee all the time. I am hopeful but I am also preparing myself for the inevitable bad news. Prayers and baby dust!
