So I had my prom at my school and paid for my ticket, my boyfriends and dinner. Then my boyfriends prom is coming up and he has said he's paying for this one since I paid for mine. All we did was plan on getting dinner and going to the dance. But today I go over to his house and his mom starts talking about us getting a hotel room for after prom, completely her idea. The hotel she chose is the one where prom is and the room is $250 a night. I'm currently pregnant and all my money is going to savings and baby stuff and she has the nerve to pull my boyfriend aside and ask if I can help pay. But this is completely her idea me and my boyfriend just planned on coming back to my house like we did for my prom. And she can't afford this room on her own and so she called her sister and asked if she would help pay... then told my boyfriend who just got fired by the way that we couldn't get dinner if we got the hotel room. THE HOTEL WAS NEVER PART OF THE PLAN! We just wanted a nice dinner (which my boyfriend has saved up for) and to go to the dance but she's forcing this idea on us and I just don't know what to do because I'm not paying for this at all. It's way to expensive and all her idea. What should I say to her if I'm refusing to pay??
