So, after being out of school for a couple of years due to financial issues, I applied to 3 colleges all out of state. My fiancé and I want to get out of here and start our lives! But I don’t know where to go! At first I said my decision would be based on which school gives me the most financial aid, however I don’t have all of those details yet and the clock is ticking! I applied to Paul Quinn in Dallas, TX, TSU in Houston and UNLV in Las Vegas. Vegas is cheap but crime ridden.... but it’s also diverse which is a plus because we’re both noticeably Black, lol. With these crazy cops, we can’t just go anywhere. TSU is really not responding to my questions which is like not a good sign to me and Paul Quinn wants me to secure my enrollment with $200 before I even have access to my student portal. HELP. Brownie points if you’re black and can give your experience because lets be real, our experience living somewhere can be so different from someone else’s.
