Irish/Celtic names and nicknames

Carla

My husband and I don't really want to use traditional names and our families are both from irish decent. so far we have come up with Cailynn Ryleigh for a girl- I feel like its a "nod" to family names without being the actual name...Cailynn a mix between charlotte/carla and marsha lynn and Ryleigh a mix between my sister's name, Rachel, and my middle name, Leigh, which was a shortened version of Elizabeth which is a family name in both families. Cailynn means pure and Ryleigh means courageous/valiant or island meadow. for a boy we have come up with Caith Declan. We both love Declan, but I'm not 100% sold on Caith yet. Caith means from the battle field and Declan means Man of prayer or full of goodness. At one time we even thought about doing a hyphenated middle name like cailynn ryleigh elizabeth williamson and caith declan robert williamson to throw some family names in their, but then they are so long. thoughts ladies? I'm also open to suggestions. My other fear is names they may be called. Any horrible nicknames or jokes that could come from these names that y'all can think of? Thanks for your input!
