I will be letting my baby girl self wean. My oldest self weaned when she was 2 years,  2 months old.

my son has been on cows milk since he was 8 months and it's honestly been the best thing for him. He's come on in leaps and bounds since!

My little girl loves to nurse. I don’t envision he stopping anytime soon. But I will be done pumping right around the time she’s one. She can then get almond, coconut, or whatever kind of milk when I’m at work.

So glad to read so many other mommies who aren’t ready and babies aren’t ready to wean! I can’t imagine being done in a month. The idea makes me cry... she nurses 6x a day now so I will very gradually start to try cutting out the two feedings that aren’t at nap, Am or bedtime. Key word being gradual! We’ll see how it goes...

No. My LO really struggled to accept anything besides breast milk for many months. So we are a little behind in that department, her diet consists mostly still of just BM. But we are making progress (finally!)

My LO turns 11 months in 2 days and we will start transitioning then. We just bought a tub of formula and I’ll start mixing one bottle a day with half formula, half whole milk, and do that for about 3 days and then add in another bottle like that and so and so on till they’re all half and half. Then I start doing one as an entire bottle of whole milk and repeat the process. She’ll be transitioned over by 1. Did this with my first and had no issues at all.
