How old were you when you were diagnosed with IBS?

I was finally diagnosed at 15 after 10 years discomfort.
2 ultrasounds, 5 blood tests and an allergy test to detect it.
The doctor said it was extremely unusual for a 15 year old to have IBS.

I've had stomach pain for years. Visit after visit my doctor dismissed it as gas or acid reflux or anything they could give simple medication for. After moving to a new doctor at 19 years old and after one blood test they say I have ibs. And gave me a whole list of things that have helped me so much

I’m 17, and while I haven’t been officially diagnosed, I’ve told my doctor all my symptoms and she’s almost certain it’s IBS-D. Although, I haven’t had many flare ups ever since the 2018-19 school year started. Last year I was super stressed, and this year my courses are a lot simpler, so mine could be linked more to stress than food...

My symptoms started around 7 and I was officially diagnosed around 10 or 11. I tried countless elimination diets (nothing helped) and medications galore until we finally found one that worked. I was finally weaned off the medication I was taking late in high school and I’ve felt totally fine until the past year or so (now 21). I have an appointment with a GI at the end of June so hopefully it’ll be an easy fix this time around.

I’m 22 and just now getting some answers. I’m finally seeing a G.I., was previously just seeing my pcp who wasn’t doing much of anything. My G.I. loosely diagnosed me with IBS. She’s trying some things that aren’t yet working, she said the next step might be a colonoscopy which I’m dreading. Just want some answers and relief tho

I first started showing symptoms in 5th grade when I was 11 years old
