I’ve had IBS since I was in elementary school, finally got diagnosed in my early 20s, then FINALLY found medication that helped (Amitiza) in my late 20s. As you all know, it’s been super rough, and having medication that helps is life changing. I’m now 34 and TTC, but am terrified of being told I have to go off my medication if I become pregnant. I have serious doubts that I could continue working without it, especially while being pregnant. Has anyone had any experience balancing IBS medication and pregnancy?
