When I was in high school, I dated a guy who was very abusive, and controlling.

He made me tell him every single guy I slept with, where we had sex, how many times, what we did, etc.

He would text these guys behind my back and ask them if I slept with them.

He texted every single guy I knew and asked if I slept with them, if I slept with them and didn’t tell him, he threatened to break up with me.

Fast forward to some years later, I’m married and my husband has only brought up my past once when we were dating, and that’s because he wanted to know if I was clean.

We laugh together about past partners and that makes me realize just how wrong it is to think it’s YOUR business to know who your SO slept with before you were around. However, that’s my opinion.
