taking glyburide help. have you taken it without problems. today I was told that I need to be on medication because my fasting numbers are high. I was given three options: metorformin, insulin, or glyburide. The doctor said her preferred glyburide over metorfim, so i went with glyburide. Now after doing some research it seems that it is a bit unsafe. There are many doctors who don't evem prescribe it. Now I'm leaning more towards insulin since it does not cross the placenta. The question is how many have taken glyburide without any problems? what would you prefer?
