Is it safe to smoke pot on Clomid?

I start Clomid tomorrow and I do not smoke unless I can't sleep.
I'm told I might have a hard time sleeping on Clomid.
So is it safe to smoke on Clomid of I can't sleep?
Asking you ladies since some of you may have experience with this.

Ill tell you this. It took me forever to get pregnant. After 1 year of trying we quit smoking pot, 90 days later I was pregnant...then miscarried. Another year went by and we were smoking again. I did 2 ivf cycles, every single embryo died. Then we quit smoking pot again and did 1 more ivf cycle, I then got my son. Smoking pot DOES effect egg quality and sperm quality especially if you are already dealing with infertility. It can push an almost infertile couple into full infertility. Don’t get me wrong ppl even chronic smokers have babies but my results proved it to be a huge burden on our efforts.

I second everything everyone else said.  Nothing kills eggs and sperm more then POT.  My RE said a lot of previous POT smokers show up at this office and have very poor prognosis.  He will not even do IvF with anyone that has not been off Pot for a minimum of 1 year and still has found quality of eggs is horrific.  I would suck it up and get little sleep if you truly want a child.

Don't smoke pot if you're trying to conceive. If you've gone to the point of fertility meds why would you even think of smoking anything at all?

If you want to give your baby the best start in life, stay away from anything that could potentially be harmful to a baby at least 3 months prior. Think would I do this if pregnant, my specialist said not to have any of those soft cheeses with that bacteria in them, alcohol, smoking etc. It takes 3 months on male side and female side for things to clear out of your system. It's a case of baby comes first even before they exist and it starts now, you will get there best of luck x

We've been TTC #2 for almost 4 years.
Our first one was concieved while I was a drug addict and getting clean pregnant was the hardest thing but I've been clean since I was 3 months pregnant. (even clean from cigarettes)
So I had no idea how anything affects conception since I was pretty messed up the first time around.
Again, thank you ladies. Better safe than sorry.

You’re trying to grow high quality eggs. I’m not sure pot will help you do that. You only need to take the pills for 5 days. Did you run this by your dr??

Try melatonin, and guided meditation! I have PTSD and this calms my anxiety and puts me straight to sleep! Best of luck to ya!

Pot does effect egg quality. It takes 3 months to change egg quality so what you were doing 3 months ago is what impacts your current egg quality. Smoking now won’t impact this cycle but it could impact future ones.
