Heart burn help?

Sounds stupid but does anyone have home remedies for heart burn? I’ve never had it before and now that I’m in the third trimester I have it everyday. Bad enough where I feel like I’m going to be sick.

I didn't want to take anything but then I had to start taking tums. Not long after I started getting acid attacks during 3rd trimester in the middle of the night. These are horrible! Now I take 75mg of zantac at dinner time and 75mg right before I go to sleep around midnight. I also still take Tums for immediate relief.

I take ranitidine(generic for zantac) one in the morning and one before bed and tums throughout the day. If you like mustard, apparently prison inmates to combat heartburn suck a mustard packet down. My dad is a guard and asked what their trick was. haha Fun fact.

Tums and milk but mine got so bad my doctor had to give me medicine to control it or i was going to end up with a hole in my stomach

I get it bad at night. I’ve started drinking a cup of warm milk before and that helps a lot
