Should you have to work (if you are able) to receive healthcare?
In my state, they’re fixing to make “tenncare” which is state Medicaid health care, only available to people who work.
This does not include people who:
Are disabled
Are under the age of 19
Are dependents
Can provide legal/medical documentation stating that they are not able to work
Are older and unable to work.
It doesn’t matter if someone works part time, full time, or what job they have.
The state legislators want people who are capable of working, to work in order to receive the state funded healthcare.
