So my wife was diagnosed with partial placenta previa at 14 weeks. We’re now at 22 weeks and this past week she was hospitalized with contractions ranging from 1-3 minutes apart. They got that to stop and sent her back home, but all day yesterday she was bleeding quite a bit. No cramps or anything but she ended up having a rather large clot come out. Earlier in the day she’d had a few nickel to quarter sized ones but this last one was... quite a bit larger. It was at least 2 inches long, narrow with on bulbous end. She didn’t really feel it or any pain And it was all dark blood and jelly like.

After being told she had placenta previa, the placenta migrated, revealing a large blood clot on u/s. They said it would either re absorb or make its way out eventually. I’m hoping that’s what that mass was last night. Anybody else have his experience?
