3D Ultrasound... Worth it?

Question

We’re thinking about paying extra to get a 3D ultrasound around 33 weeks. If you got one, was it worth it even though you got to see your baby in person shortly thereafter? Also, when did you have yours taken? Thanks in advance for the opinions & comments!

Honestly, those 3D ultrasounds freak me out. I’d rather wait and see my baby when it comes out, but that’s just personal preference.

I wouldn’t pay out of pocket for one. Luckily I get mine when I see the fetal specialist

my dr office does it included with the ultrasound.  I was so excited until I saw that my baby looks exactly like my older brother, then I was a bit creeped out.

We loved getting to see our sweet girls faces before they got here. It was definitely worth the money for us and we will be doing it again this time with our little boy❤️💙
