Hot tub/Jacuzzis while pregnant?

I’m 22 weeks and in my second trimester and my family has booked for us to go away to a log cabin for a long weekend, there is a hot tub for us to use and I was wondering wether I can go in it or not?? Heard mixed things...

I wouldn’t cuz i get too hot in them and it’s bad for baby for us to over heat.

Just don’t let yourself get too hot, get out after 10/15 minuets, and have a cool drink. As long as you don’t overheat you’ll be absolutely fine, they really aren’t dangerous when you’re out of the first twelve weeks. Enjoy

Ive been in the 38c ones in Iceland for a short time after consulting with my local friends. I was late in my second trimester though

The risk of hot tubs is not just overheating but the bacteria that live in it, because it’s a warm, moist environment the bacteria thrive. I wouldn’t risk it personally but if you don’t let yourself get too warm and have a shower afterwards I’m sure you’ll be fine 😊

It’s not recommended because the temperature raises your body temperature, which can be dangerous for a fetus, but in other countries women use natural hot springs while pregnant.
