So I need some advice from a nurse or doctor if there are any on here. It’s not TTC or pregnancy related but I thought I’d try my luck on here as can’t get to my GP until Monday...

So earlier I was slicing some bread and managed to slice through my finger nail and I think into my nail bed with the bread knife.

Straight away I stick it under a cold tap. My partner then wrapped it up and put pressure on to stop the bleeding. It has been in a tight plaster for around 5-6hours now and I have managed to peel off my nail varnish to check for any bruising etc. Luckily I can’t see any, but I just wanted to check to see if there’s anything I need to do to it to help it heal? 🤕
