after a c section...?

I'm having a c section Tuesday and I was just curious how long after the c section they have you stay? I know it depends on insurance, I have Humana if that helps with this question.. thank you ladies❤️💙

The normal at my hospital was 4 full days. I went in Monday morning and didn’t leave until Friday morning.

Standard is 3 full days post surgery, but if all goes well you can request to be discharged a day earlier (unless there were complications)

I had my baby on a Wednesday evening and left Friday during the day

My wife was induced on July 25th at 7 pm and had a c section on July 26th at 530 (baby born at 6;02pm) she could have went home on Friday the 28th but due to her history of infections her doctor let her stay one more night to get two more doses of antibiotics. Wife’s choice.
