I don't know what to do

so I recently broke up with my boyfriend for emotional abuse (sending nudes when I didn't want to when he was aroused or finding out his snaps about his 'single life' when he was with me etc.) but during that relationship I was talking to my ex (who broke up with me because he thought I deserved better). Now i'm thinking about going back to him. should I do it or should i try again with someone else?
