Almost Relationships

So I had an almost relationship with someone who seemed like an awesome perfect guy for me aside from the music differences. The day we completely stopped talking it hurt and I had to cry it out. Actually also add in that hey I’m a city girl and he’s a country guy so those are two opposite worlds too. Okay so question time is it valid that I felt sad and cried over this almost something?
