If you'd like to spend less I'd actually recommend avoiding a "diaper bag" where they jack up the price for no reason. All a diaper bag is is a nylon lined bag. You can totally do a regular crossbody messenger bag or backpack. I'm a mom of 3 my diaper bag isn't a diaper bag.

I kept holding out for the perfect diaper bag, and ended up just using the free tote bag from the hospital the entire time. All you need is to be able to keep track of some diapers and wipes and a spare outfit. You most likely already own something that will work.

Your local hospital should give you one with birth! My mom works for the Hospital and they’re always the best! Efficient, and multipurpose full

I got a nice backpack one from amazon for like $20. I’ve used shoulder diaper bags, but found them annoying while carrying a car seat, and having to switch sides and what not. And the more expensive ones fell apart within a few months of use.

If you have a Burlington Coat Factory near you, check there. I went in to browse last night and they had Skip Hop bags (normally $70+) for less than $30. There were plenty of others that might've been even less expensive, I just didn't look bc I don't need one at the moment.
