I would never pick a name that we didn’t both agree on.

The only time I'd say tough patooties to dad is if he's basically not involved in the baby's life, then mom gets to choose. For a coparenting couple, both should have say. I chose the names but my husband had veto power if he didn't like any of my suggestions.

He gets to choose if we have a boy and I get to choose if we have a girl. We both still have to agree on the name though.

me and my significant other voted - he gets to choose our first childs name and I get to choose the second childs name. luckily, we liked eachothers names so all is well 🤗
