So here it goes .. I was due on the 8 April 18 but my boy had other ideas by staying where he was as he was too comfortable.... any way I was booked to be induced on the 18th April 18 I was ten days over so that why I had to be induced my very first time was a whole new experience for me as I usually go spontaneous so I arrived at my hospital by 8am nurse does my obs an said doc will be round at 9ish well they inserted the string pessary at 9.32am so that’s there in place I sat an sat an sat for hours till 5.30 pm till I started to feel swollen down below I went the toilet as was getting little pains I wipe an the pessary falls out so I buzzed the nurse told her what happened an she said she would talk to the doctor to come an check me see if I needed another pessary .. well he came round at 6.30pm checks me an I’m 3cm dilated so they broke my waters that’s when the pain more severe so I’m getting these pains for over 2 hours so nurse comes in to do obs an I’m needing to push but nothing so she checks me an I’m still at a 3 cm am still had membranes around my boys head so nurse had to pop them again lucky she did as I was getting too impatient an couldn’t bare the pain any longer so she popped them at 8pm with in a space of hour I was at 7cm dialated an in full on labour so I started pushing at 8 pm but nothink still so I let them pain n body jus flow together so then I’m jus about coping with the pain till 9.33 pm where I couldn’t cope any more an started pushing I’m glad I did when I did as my lil boy TOBY-JACOB came into the world at 10.06pm weighing 8lb 5oz on the 18/04/18 he is perfect in every way an jus makes me want to do it all again!! 🙈😊💙
