Are Pap smears safe during pregnancy?

Would you consider Pap smears to be safe during pregnancy? I’m only 3 weeks and 3 days pregnant and I’ve had two miscarriages in the past..

I know they don't do them in the UK on pregnant women. refuse one if you don't feel comfortable.

My OB didn’t want to do one, but I know a lot of docs do. You have the right to refuse it if you are uncomfortable with it.

Very safe. I had two during my first pregnancy.

I meant to hit yes. You’re supposed to have one early in pregnancy to check for anything that could be a problem for your or your baby

Because this was a rainbow my Ob pushed it until 16 weeks because I was nervous.

i had one at 8 weeks with my first prenancy..i dont see it being much more invasive than sex to be honest, even though its not all that comfortable

I did one on my 12wk check up brown spotting for 2 days and my DR warned me about it too so pretty normal
