anybody have any advice or ideas?

Okay our anniversary is next month,  I'm currently in school and not working so I don't have much income. I'm just looking for any inexpensive ideas  that I can maybe do that would be special.  It's our first year together so I want it to be really special.. thank you guys in advance 😊

My anniversary is today.  for the last month and a half I've been working on an epic card for him.  I can never find the words to express how I feel for him so I read the damn dictionary.  Wrote down every word that made me think of him and made him a card (small book?)  He's Irish, so I used handy dandy Google to translate some gaelic for the cover.

Viola!  Adorable shit for my man.  Came out to be 7 pages long.  Added some watercolor to liven it up a little bit.

our first we were crazy broke... we got a redbox (back when that was popular) put blankets and pillows on the floor of our living room and watched a movie with cheesecake and popcorn... I also made his favorite dinner (his moms recipe for pollo al jugo)... got a bottle of sweet red wine and had a nice evening :).. turned the lights off and watch the snow... 
cheap but it was sentimental..
