Hair help!

So I posted a poll awhile ago about if I should dye my hair blonde or not and I wanted to get some more in depth options. So first I'm 14 almost 15 my mom is cool with me dying it, but the thing is I'm kinda worried about what people will think ( I know I shouldn't lol) but what if they think I'm like trying to hard? second how much damage will it do to my hair? and how much work will it take to keep it like this? but I want it to look like this like kinda ash blonde
