depression HELP??

my boyfriend keeps telling me he's depressed and i try to motivate him and make him feel better but i don't know how... i love him and don't want to leave him but it is messing with our relationship

Depression isn’t something that just goes away. The best thing you can do is be there for him and listen. Don’t tell him “you should...” Just be supportive

If he’s feeling depressed he might be suffering from depression. A depression as something to do with your brain and therefore needs medication so it can actually get better. Suggest him to go to the doctor with him.
