I went to my OBGYN today for my 16 week checkup, and the nurse took my picture (my face) for what she said is my medical records? Has anyone else had this happen to them? I’ve never had to take a picture at a doctors before...bit weird to me.

Yes, it's a recent thing for identity. I also get asked for my birthday, phone number and address by the receptionist every time. And then each nurse, doctor, or staff that I encounter, I have to confirm my birthday again. Excessive but necessary I guess.
