What is this dark black stuff in LO diaper

Almost 8 mo and this week diapers have been extra stinky and looked mucousy and now today I see black ? He hates solids still but I did manage to get two spoons of oatmeal snuck in today... he’s ebf otherwise

Did he eat bananas this week? That can cause black lines like this in poop....

What were diapers like before starting solids? My daughter has multiple food intolerances and would have runny, mucousy, green or orangey poos when she was reacting to a food, even through my breast milk. Black specs can be blood as well. You can take a poopy diaper to a doctor and get it tested for microscopic blood. Grains are pretty harsh on the tummy, so maybe stop solids for a few weeks until diapers look normal again & restart with something like squash?
