Doctors office

So I had my first appointment at 6 weeks and I loved the doctor and nurses. Location isn’t bad and pretty much everything is good except the part that they don’t allow any kids pass the waiting room. With my son I lived in small ish town and they had toys and they allowed kids in n out all the time so I thought it was normal. Here When I came in and saw the paper saying if any of us has kids and we don’t bring an adult to watch them then we’d have to reschedule... thank god my husband came with me otherwise I had to reschedule my appointment. And no my husband couldn’t come in to see or meet the doctor or anything because he was with our son in the waiting room. I’m very confused??? I’d hate to change doctor but I’m gonna have to because not all the time my husband can take day off to come w me or pay for a sitter just to go to an appointment.
