Boob rant. (TL;DR: Some women have a lot of cleavage, deal with it.)
Okay, first off...I HAVE BOOBS. It’s no secret. They’re 32F (or DDD, since most stores label F as DDD.) Most women have them. I know how to dress for my environment. If I’m going to an interview at a hospital or clinic, I keep them covered, I dress the part, and am very conservative, because it’s a professional setting. Same with work, though cleavage isn’t an issue in scrubs, practically ever...
However, if I’m wearing my street clothes, going out clothes, “I’m on my own time” clothes, chances are, there’s gonna be cleavage of some amount. I can’t help it that my breast grew to the size they did. That doesn’t mean I have to stay away from V-necks, scoop necks, bikinis, tank tops, spaghetti straps, or whatever items. I love my rack. I was a beanpole up until I hit puberty. Before puberty, it seemed everyone around me was developing at a rapid pace, and I was the late bloomer. I was mocked quite often for being the flat girl. So, yeah, I’m proud of what I got.
So, whenever another chick feels the need to tell me “you dress like a slut” when I’m just chillin in a tank top and pants, something a smaller breasted woman wouldn’t get slut-shamed over, I get a bit irritated. (No disrespect to the smaller cupped ladies.) So, don’t get upset when I tell you I can’t control how BAM these girls look in a tank top, and that I’m gonna wear it anyway.
“Have some respect for your boyfriend!” First off, he loves my outfits. He doesn’t give a damn if people look, because he knows who I’m home with every night, and he said it boosts his ego. He loves that I get outfits that embrace my body as it is. So, maybe mind your business and don’t try to use my man to shame me. He’s been supportive of me for 8 years, and we plan to keep that going.
“Your straps are showing...” OH GAWD NOT THR BRA STRAPS. Hunny, you do NOT want me out and about without a bra on. You may just kill over at the sight of nipples poking the fabric of a shirt. I could wear a strapless, but those bitches are the worst. They slide down, no matter how tight you make it, which is even more uncomfortable. I need support, dear. You’re just going to have to live with it.
So, if someone tries to tell you shit about your outfit when you’re on your own time, walk it off, ladies. You look fab, cleavage is a part of having boobs, and it does not make you a slut.
If another women’s cleavage somehow threatens you, then you need to reevaluate yourself. Maybe get a pair yourself. I support all boobs. Small boobs, fake boobs, big boobs, reduced boobs, left boob, right boob, red boob, blue boob. Don’t let people restrict your outfits based on cup size. If you’re on your own time, you do you, and take the hate with a grain of salt. If a small boobed chick can get away with wearing it, so can you. ❤️
