Moving Across The Country

So I’m a few years I plan to take the move from Florida to California where I, currently, do not know a single person there, nor do I know anyone willing to move with me, besides my dog.

Ultimately what I’m worried about is homesickness and the fear I may regret moving from my family, which I sort of thought wasn’t possible at first. My household has always been... well... a bit toxic, but regardless, everyone needs their mom and dad, you know?

And I made a habit of reminding myself that I need to live for myself and although I have people I love here, a few of those people being children in my family that mean a lot to me, eventually they also have plans and goals that they will go along with.

I guess what I’m needing from this post is to ask you guys if you’ve ever been through these feelings about moving from your hometown before and how things ultimately did or didn’t fall into place?
