Online relationship issue (suicide will be mentioned)

So, I have been dating this guy for nearly a year now online, and we video call every single day. I told my friend about my relationship and she accepts it. I told my mother and she flipped and told me to break off the relationship... I don’t feel like I should leave someone that I love dearly, he’s helped me with my depression.

About 3 years ago, my ex was really abusive toward me so I went online and vented to him (we were only friends at the time) and since then, we’ve spend every second we have together online (such as video calls, voice calls and even playing video games) and at that point I was really bad with cutting and suicide attempts. He saved me from myself and without him, I know I’d be dead. He makes me feel loved, and human when everyone else turned their backs on me.
