Parents HATE the names we’ve picked

We find out sex in one week...

Anyone else experience this?? We have names we LOVE (and actually agree on - which was difficult on it’s own 😹). I was so excited to share the names we have with my mom and my husband’s parents.

My FIL complained it wasn’t a Greek name (they’re Greek).

MIL made fun of initials.

My own mother has stated she HATES the girl name - she made a racism remark and keeps giving me lists of baby names.

I refuse to change our names we picked. But I can’t deny my heart is broken... 😔

The names we love:

💙 Alden Robert (Alden is my husband’s middle name, and Robert to honor my recently deceased father)

💕 Aria Rosalyn (My grandmother’s name was Rosalyn)
