Fetal hiccups?

Is anyone else continuing to get fetal hiccups, I am 32 weeks and 1 day and have been noticing them more lately. Never worried about it before until I read about umbilical cord issues that sometimes are associated with increased hiccups further along in pregnancy

My doc said hiccups are a good sign - means they’re practicing breathing and they’re diaphragms working. I agree with other commenters - don’t read scare stuff on the internet.

Yeah this is why Google is bad when you're pregnant. That's not that common hun. Don't worry about it. It's more like if the hiccups last more than 15min at a time. You should be fine if it's just a lot at different times. Don't worry unless it's just continuous for 15mins or linger at a time. Then I'd call the Dr.

How do you know if your feeling a hiccup? All i get is nudges and taps. At least that’s how they feel to me. 🤷‍♀️

I’ve been told hiccups are a good thing! My first baby had hiccups twice a day .. this baby I’ve felt hiccups maybe twice my whole pregnancy (I’m 30+5 weeks).

I feel them every day, sometimes multiple times. It helps me know how baby is positioned!

My midwife says parents worry about them more than babies do. It doesn’t bother them. My girlie gets them about twice a day! I like it as I know she’s ok and know her heads still down the bottom 🤣💗💗💗💗 x

My daughter got the hiccups all the time, all day long when I was pregnant with her. Sometimes that’s the only way I felt her move. Once she was born she hiccuped a lot. A few times a week. It’s completely normal. Talk to your doctor and they will reassure you it’s normal. Doctor Google likes to scare people.

My little fella gets hiccups a couple of times a day and yesterdays scan showed everything is healthy as can be 😃. I’m 34+5 weeks.

Yes, Kensley gets hiccups once to twice a day. My first daughter got them daily while I was pregnant up until the day she was born
