Credit card payments

Okay so I’m in college and have 2 credit cards both with hefty balances (at least for me)

1: Forever 21 with a balance of 390

2. Capital One with a balance of 760.,

Foolish decisions and unexpected expenses !

Anyway I’m looking for a way to help pay these off advice really! That will help my credit .. As I don’t have the money to pay in full I pay the minimum on time every month. This past month I paid the minimum plus $50 per card .. not sure if that’s a good thing ? Since I did that my Capital one is saying that I don’t have a payment to make for this month . Should I make one anyway ?

Any advice would be great !
